Chinese New Year, also called Lunar New Year or Spring Festival, is a ripe holiday for tapping into nature’s cyclical groove.  Celestial observation was the earliest measurement of time so it’s no wonder the traditional Chinese calendar, along with the Hindu, Buddhist, Tibetan, Hebrew, Vietnamese, Japanese, and Korean calendars (to name a few!) are all lunisolar.   Aside from cultural celebrations like the festive red envelopes (hóngbāo in Mandarin, lai see in Cantonese) meant to bring good fortune and maintain youth, and ‘lucky’ foods such as nian gao, bean cake served as an offering for growth and expansion, Lunar New Year entails valuable rituals that invite us into the nourishing aspects of nature...

Join healer Lindsey Kimura and myself for an intimate Lunar New Year gathering to welcome the year of the earth dog + refresh the body, mind and soul!

We begin with a simple movement meditation to embrace the grounding aspects of nature and open our receptivity to nature's divine current.  I will offer sound alchemy with crystal singing bowls, moon gong, medicine melodies, and other musical instruments while Lindsey holds space for energy healing with guided meditation, light work, crystals and stones.  We close with a tea + affirmation ceremony to infuse our entrance into the new cycle with clarity and auspicious tidings.

Space for this intimate gathering is limited.  Contact me for details and to save your space.
